We’re looking for passionate, gifted and creative educators to join our expanding team of lectures to deliver performance skills, songwriting, music industry and final year dissertation module on our HE courses. We have roles amounting to 1.5 FTE so we are looking for full-time and fractional people to lecture on our Music Performance degree.

The successful applicants will be working on up to a full-time basis over 5 days and will be required to design and deliver sessions on a range of subjects throughout the course, predominantly on our Performance Skills, Songwriting, Music Industry and Creative Investigation [Dissertation] modules. Depending on applicant’s ability and skill-set, a job share situation may be considered. This role could be one full time role or a number of smaller roles – applicant dependant.

You should have experience/industry activity in some or all of the following areas:
From planning sessions and preparing resources for designated programmes and modules, to delivering enriching sessions and activities, our lecturers are at the heart of the student experience.
You will also be a Group Tutor: responsible for the oversight of a group of tutees progress
It’s essential that you are conversant with current professional practices within your field of expertise. Ideally, you will also have experience of teaching higher education. It is desirable that you hold a post-graduate qualification in the field, although applications will be considered from those who hold an honours degree and are considering or currently studying for a further qualification. It is also expected that you hold a recognised teaching qualification or are willing to work towards HEA fellowship.
