We are recruiting for a full-time Security Officer to join our Operations department. You will be joining a friendly, hardworking and diverse team at a time of growth and expansion for Confetti Media Group.
As Security Officer, you will effectively be responsible for ensuring the security of CMG students, employees and buildings, by providing a reassuring, visible and professional presence across our estate. In addition you will work closely with our Emergency Management Team, responding to emergency situations as they arise.
You will also be responsible for the monitoring of our CCTV cameras and access control system and be on hand to support our Health and Safety officer with various duties as required.
To be considered, it is essential that you hold a relevant, current Security Industry Authority door supervisor and front line license. You will have experience of working in building security, ideally in an educational environment. With demonstrable knowledge of effective conflict resolution, you will have the ability to diffuse situations in a calm and empathetic manner whilst ensuring confidentiality and safeguarding procedures are followed at all times, in line with internal policy and wider legislation.
Ideally you will hold a current first aid qualification, or be willing to work towards one.
